To ensure that all safety procedures and opening and closing check lists are completed, before and after programs.

Monitor the use of equipment and supplies ensuring that there are no damages/tears throughout, conduct inventory counts and re-stock as needed

Maintain ongoing communication with all staff including the Recreation Programmer/Coordinator

Report all concerns, accidents and incidents to immediate supervisor for follow up and take appropriate action

Maintain an understanding of department programs and services

SELECTION CRITERIA:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in rock climbing
OTHER SKILLS AND ASSETS:
- Excellent indoor climbing knowledge
- Excellent knowledge in Ninja Course and Parkour elements
- Climbing wall facilitator Level 1, considered an asset
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR C from an accredited organization, or ability to obtain within 1 month of date of hire
- High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development or Sport Certification and QUEST 2 Certification, considered an asset
- Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.)

• Perform garbage collection, litter picking and maintenance of amenities.

• Set up/take down for special events and permit holders.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation, care of tools and equipment.
• Perform parking control duties; maintain and direct traffic flow.
