AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Reporting to the Education & Outreach Coordinator, provides casual program support to the division as needed. Ensures effective delivery of programs and services.
Support the arts & culture program team on the execution of arts & culture programming.
Provide a high level of front-line customer service including greeting and engaging participants
Respond to customer inquiries/concerns and provide information regarding programs and services, and escalates to appropriate City staff as required
Assist and provide support with divisional programs and special events
Provide program support as related to the area of work, including registration and attendance, supervision, ad-hoc instruction, preparing materials, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment
Maintain complete vigilance while on duty and be ready to respond to any emergency situation
Provide administrative support as related to the area of work, including maintaining records, documentation, preparing reports as required, and assisting with data entry and tracking
Maintain an understanding of department programs and services
Understand and adhere to Corporate Policies & Procedures, Confidentiality Guidelines, Emergency Procedures and Health and Safety Standards
Attend meetings/training as required
Performs other duties as assigned

**Preference will be given to students that have a permanent residency in Brampton.
