AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Under the direction of the Manager on Duty, Facility General Operator, and Shift Lead, assist with the maintenance of all amenities (Outdoor and Indoor) of assigned facility to ensure cleanliness and that the building is safely operated at all times.
Reports to the Operations Coordinator/ Manager on Duty, as well as taking direction from Facility General Operators, Facility Operations Attendant II and III
Hours of Work: This is a part-time position (a maximum of 24 hours) requiring the successful candidate to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
Minimum 15 years of age
Ability to work in varying and extreme weather conditions.
Current Standard First Aid / CPR C from an accredited organization, or ability to obtain within 1 month of date of hire.
Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) CSA Grade Steel Toe Boots at all times, and a CSA grade hockey helmet when working on ice surface.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
**Preference will be given to students that have a permanent residency in Brampton.
**Various tests and/or exams may be administered as part of the selection criteria.
