The City of Brampton’s Heartbeats in Performing Arts program is a co-op and internship for Indigenous and Black youth. The program increases opportunities for local Black and Indigenous youth to gain meaningful experience and/or employment in the arts, while celebrating students’ cultures, enhancing cultural understanding, and enabling student success.
