    If you share our energy, we want to know about it. We have an opening for a Digital Innovation Advisor with our Digital Innovation and Information Technology Division.


    We are looking for an innovative and collaborative leader to champion technical digital innovation enabling the evolution of our business models. You have proven your abilities using design thinking to foster innovation acceleration.  You can spot and seize opportunities to integrate an innovation playbook with strategic plans. You are a leader in fostering an opportunity mindset and influencing the challenges of innovation in a positive way.



    In this role you will…


    • Apply innovative lenses to identify disruptive technologies and create a value proposition for our City Departments.
    • Collaborate with senior stakeholders on strategic digital technological innovation portfolio.
    • Build strong relationships with senior leaders across the City and become trusted advisor who is committed to accelerating change.
    • Key enabler connecting transformative initiatives and leadership along the digital transformation change journey from the opportunity identification stage to supporting implementation phase.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the corporation to achieve corporate goals in a way that respects and honours diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives.

    • Senior level strategic and innovation expertise and strong familiarity with a variety of innovative environments.
    • A collaborative leader who can apply new thinking and strategies to our existing culture.
    • Demonstrates the characteristics and behaviours which foster a culture of innovation.
    • A successful digital transformation leader who can influence old patterns, create excitement and drive both incremental and disruptive change.
    • University degree or college diploma in Information Science; Data Science, Digital Design, Information Technology or similar program(s), or a combination of similar industry recognized certifications


    **Various tests and/or exams may be administered as part of the selection criteria.

    **Starting Salary: $87,514 annually; midpoint $98,454 annually
