Job Description

WORKOPOLIS-TEMPLATE (2)

 

Under the direction of the Coordinator, provide program support relating to fundraising initiatives, while providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Ensure efficient and professional delivery of programs, services and, customer relations. Assist with researching, planning, negotiating, and implementing all fundraising sponsorship proposals, sponsor/donor retention programs, and advertising prospects.

 

  • Assist with responding to customer inquiries and provide information regarding donor, advertising and sponsorship opportunities to both current and potential clients.
  • Assist with providing support for events, programming, activations and revenue generating initiatives outside of regular hours as required.
  • Assist with executing annual campaign development activities.
  • Assist with administrative duties as related to the area of work including revenue processing, and recognition.
  • Assist with scheduling and preparing for sales meetings with clients and city representatives.
  • Assist with researching and contacting prospects for sponsorship and advertising with the goal of increasing sales.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports as required.
  • Liaise with internal departments, external vendors and donors to complete tasks/ projects on-time and within budget.
  • Travel between work sites during shift.
  • Maintain an understanding of department programs and services.
  • Understand, adhere to, and enforce Corporate Policies & Procedures, Confidentiality Guidelines, Emergency Procedures and Health and Safety Standards for all participants and staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience in Advertising and Sponsorship or sales and marketing.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and a high degree of initiative.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills as related to the area of work (Word/Excel/Outlook/Photo-Shop/Digital Imaging Software).
  • Valid Ontario non-probationary Class “G” driver’s licence.
  • Submit a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.
  • Current Standard First Aid/ CPR C/ AED from an accredited organization.
  • Flexible schedule as occasional evening and weekend will be required.
