Job Description


Major Responsibilities: 

Oversee full Rental Shop operations, maintaining a clean, efficient and organized shop while providing exceptional customer service.

  • Responsible for the inventory and maintenance of all ski and snowboard equipment
  • Manage inventory process (update and monitor, assign asset numbers)
  • Assist with Recruiting, supervising, coaching and evaluating staff
  • Assist with developing, delivering and documenting staff training and meetings
  • Ensure that skis/snowboards rentals are prepared for all programs, including schools
  • Complete tuning and sharpening as well as regular maintenance on all rental equipment
  • Inspect and repair all rental equipment and tools to ensure safe condition
  • Complete administrative duties in a timely manner (i.e. staff schedules, payroll, rental forms and incident/accident reports)
  • Review accident/incident reports with Ski Patrol to determine if caused by equipment failure issues
  • Maintain an understanding of department programs and services
  • Understand, adhere to, and enforce Corporate Policies & Procedures, Confidentiality Guidelines, Emergency Procedures and Health and Safety Standards for all participants and staff
  • Attend meetings/training as required • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to obtain Ski Binding Certifications
  • Ski and snowboard binding, mounting, and tuning experience
  • Current Standard First Aid / CPR C / AED from an accredited organization
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment
